Evaluation of Heat Stress on Bakery Worker in Makurdi Benue State, north east Nigeria.

Nigeria being a tropical nation with high temperature and some Nigerian bakeries use mud oven which expose workers to direct contact heat increasing their risk of stress. This research work tends evaluate stress on bakery in Makurdi, Benue State. Forty questionnaires were validly filled handed from the at various bakeries. Data such as age, duration exposure well estimation satisfaction level data analysis using statistics results shows that reduces efficiency productivity poses health cramps, rashes severe cases even stroke may threaten life these workers. The measurements this has shown Makurdi metropolis are highly exposed likely experience one disorder or other possible death consequences. It was also found is often an overlooked problem most lacked proper knowledge control measures employers have made little no effort prevent disorders.
